| [Help Me] Vista doesn't activate dwa-110 if no active user sessi
Hi All,
I have a Vista Ultimate PC (32bit, SP2) with dwa-110 wireless USB adapter attached. The adapter is not activated unless there's an active user session (some user must be logged in). I had the same device connected to a WinXP Pro box and it worked fine. I used the latest driver from d-link's FTP site, and later updated the driver from Vista's device manager, but that didn't help. Any ideas?

I guess I don't see the problem. If you or someone else is using the computer may have to be logged in any way. Am I missing something? |

Well, it started working. Don't know what exactly happened. I updated the driver from device manager, restarted, turned computer off, turned it on, updated everything using Windows update, deleted the connection, recreated it and did some other Windows-style things I can't remember, suddenly it was working and I could open RDP session to it.
Thanks |
