Has anyone here ordered service through MyFiosGuy.com? The site seems to have good deals but I wonder if they are too good to be true. |

Those are teh same prices that show up on the Verizon site when I looked before I switched to a different bundle last week. Verizon also gave me HBO and Cinemax free for 3 months. Although those extra credits were not on the Verizon site. |

| reply to dmodert66 I have searched a lot about him...Steve. I concur that a lot of people seem to have good things to say. I sent an email and Steve called me back. He was polite and informative. He has answered any and all questions I have had since our first talk. DW and I have decided to go with Steve when we are ready to place our order (still a few things to do in the house prior to order). |

And how can he offer rebates that are "exclusive" to him? |

| reply to CrobertGauth Being a reseller myself of AV Gear, I can assure you that he is making money. However as long as I'm getting a good deal and I am happy with it, then I don't care how much he is making. I understand that any business needs to make money and if I benefit, then good.
On the flip side, I do understand the concerns. I had them too prior to digging into it and him. I am now satisfied that he is legit and knows his stuff. I am the most nontrusting person I know and never make a move until I have beat the research horse to death. Plus the number of satisfied customers posting across the web is a reassurance too. |

| We did a lot of research prior to signing up for FiOS. They have kiosks in the malls, they sell it at wireless stores and some independents. This was by far the best deal we could find. My neighbor whom i referred is kicking himself because he signed up for a double play in July and only got $50 from steve. Steve is now doing $275 for a fios double play (150 from fios and $75 from them) |

1 edit | I never knew you could order FiOS from some of the Wireless kiosks until I got into a conversation with one running it. It is good to know. However if you have an issue can you use one of the wireless stores (not kiosks) as a FiOS store for help (i.e. pickup/turn-in STBs)? |

AL though I understand the business model (resellers get a volume discount), I find it hard to understand how V* can sell to him (and make money) cheap enough for him to be able to offer discounts over and above V*. Shouldn't they be able to match his deals? Feels like we are getting screwed by going to V* directly. |

| reply to sjgruber I know this is an older thread but I have a question for those of you who ordered through MyFiOSGuy.com.
Is billing done through Verizon or MyFiOSGuy? If it's through Verizon, then it sounds like the only thing that's unique to MyFiOSGuy is the initial order and sale through them with their exclusive discounts. Otherwise, Verizon handles everything afterwards.
If the answer above is Verizon, I also take it that any changes you need to make to your account (package, renew contract, etc.) are done through Verizon billing. Additionally, existing FiOS customers who ordered directly through Verizon would get no benefit from MyFiOSGuy, correct? |

| I am a new VZ customer and ordered my bundle through MyFiOSGuy.com for the added discounts and rebates. Yes, the billing and changes are through VZ. Steve will set you up and ensure you get what he has advertised and will then put your order into VZ's system.
As for existing customers, the site does stress "new FiOS customers". I would still call or email Steve to see what he can do. He is a quality guy and I have nothing but good things to say about my experience. |

| I had a good experience with steve as well. I never had any billing or service issues but someone i referred needed a special request on her install and he was able to help out with his contacts.
I just checked Steves site and it is down so I shot him an email. He said that Verizon asked him to remove the pricing for the packages because they are not the same throughout the country. He still can be reached at tripleplayrebates.com if you are interested. |
