| Cannot Remove Pinnacle 11 Studio From My PC
Wow, I have never had such a crappy software program that gave me so much problems, and the worse thing is that I actually PAID $59.99 for this crap video-editing program that never worked correctly. I'm trying to get rid of it and it won't let me uninstall, it says it needs "windows XP service pack 2".
When in tarnation has a program ever needed SP 2 to be uninstalled?
Okay fine, I had SP 3 and downloaded SP 2 just to uninstall it and it still tells me to install SP2 even though I am running with SP 2. I've tried Googling this problem but whatever they tell me to do it still prompts me to "install SP2" even though it's already installed. The Pinnacle website told me to take a certain procedure but their procedure always prompts the "install SP 2" dialog box.
What can I do? Restore my PC to factory setting and lose everything? |

| Irish, tried your program and it allegedly deleted Pinnacle 11 and all it's registry inputs, but the logo was still in my desktop and when I clicked it it launched it, albeit it's a non-functioning version. Anyways, I tried re-installing it with the original installation DVD and now it prompts me to have SP 2 to install, can you believe this bloody thing?
Anyways, goodbye Pinnacle products, good riddance, I'll never use products from this software company ever again. |
