 Rate increase and renewal questions

I received my receipt for auto billing and found out that my rate went from 29.95 to 59.95. I then went back and found out on the bottom of the previous month's Sonic receipt it said that the intro pricing has expired.

The part that has me confused was that I thought that Sonic got rid of intro prices and was 29.95 month-to-month unless the price goes up then a 30 day notice would be sent out. That was what I was told back in July 2008.

Could you clarify this because that was what I was told last year and because of that I would not have to "renew" every year to get the low price. That is the reason why I did not call to renew because I thought that was Sonic's new pricing policy.

Also, is there anyway to get a credit after being billed 59.95 if I renew today?

In some cases, we can offer more aggressive rates on a temporary basis. The availability of this will vary, and depends upon our costs for your specific loop.

For help interpreting your own service receipt, I'd suggest taking a look first here:

Then, if you still have any questions or concerns about the rate you are paying, give billing a call, 707-522-1000 or 888-SONIC-33 (weekdays) and they can help!

Just called sales and the issue is now resolved. I was able to re-rate at $29.95 for another year. The rep told me it would be month-to-month but if I want the lower price after the one year term is up, I'll have to call them again next year.

Thank you
