Searching for 2Mbps ISP in Los Angeles area

Hello,

We are looking for a Business ISP for a client of ours in the Century City area. We have purchased ISP services in other parts of the country and are kind of surprised at the prices out here.

Can anyone recommend a good and reliable business ISP that services this area? We are looking for 2MB upload speed, very high uptime, good tech support and an SLA that guarantees those things (among some other specs).

Any help or leads would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Are you only looking for local or would you deal with a national carrier?

Bonded T1s?

Post the full street address and we can find stuff for you. Confirm if it's a commercial or residential address. Tell us if you will be supplying the router or if you want to carrier to include it. Your timeline and expected price point would be helpful, too. Note: if you're expecting east coast FIOS type price points, that won't be in the cards just yet.

I'm not comfortable giving out the full business address on a public forum. It's a commercial address (office building) in Century City.

Sporkme, we would be OK with either a local OR national provider - whoever can provide the service we need.

We're looking to do this very soon, and were looking to spend no more then $200/month but that does not seem to in the cards in our client's area.

Accel Wireles, a reseller of Sprint and Verizon EvDO. If you have a wireline alternative, take it.

If you would prefer not to post the exact street address, then you can speak to us privately. Click our name in blue, then fill in your contact info in the yellow box. We'll call you and then you can provide the info necessary to get an accurate quote.

most of those office buildings in century city have one or more CLECs and/or carriers on net. Cogent is in several of them, as is Verizon Business (formerly MCI). If you go with a carrier which has a pop in the building, you should be able to get what you are looking for no problem. T1s can get pretty cheap when no ILEC (AT&T) copper is involved.
