ZyXEL have just posted a new firmware: V3.60(AMX.5). Apparently, it features a new WLAN driver. For the first time, I can now use 802.11n without experiencing frequent disconnects. |

| downloaded and installed the NGB-460N AMX.5 on my x550N which has been gathering dust due to disconnects. I am happy to say that the new firmware has been stable for 10 hours with one VPN tunnel and SIP phone running on it.
search V3.60(AMX.5) for download site it is not on X550N page yet.
Note that when upgrading through the router page it appears to do nothing, just leave it on the page as it will take like 2-5 minutes before it starts to upload the .bin file.
I will report back in a few days as the previous firmware couldnt go more than 2 days before the wireless quit and the WAN went down. |

| For some reason I can't download the linked file from the Zyxel worldwide site. Could some kind soul please grab the release notes off the download and post the changes up here? Thanks in advance...

| reply to csayers Well it has been 10 days with the new 460 firmware loaded on my 550N, Not one drop, no disconnects for my VOIP box and one IPSEC tunnel running. Fantastic, finally This box lives up to the Zyxel name. One last problem to figure out and it is perfect. I cannot figure out how to let HTTPS and HTTP reach my Windows home server box. Using port forwarding doesn't seem to work, Anyone know any tricks? The firmware is different than my Zywall 35 and I cannot get this X550N to let my HTTP or HTTPS in. |

| csayers, I'm not sure you can specify firewall blockage by the kind of traffic.
On another topic... In Bandwidth Management, can you check the upload speed menu and see what speed setting options it gives you? Is it only MB/Sec or KB/Sec? I need to check whether they did what I asked... |

| Dandemon, The first page shows Mbps but I think it was that way in the March firmware, I am not using the BWM feature but it still shows the VOIP class as using TCP when it should be UDP.
Also Dan, I want to open via NAT a port , not block the HTTP and HTTPS Traffic, is that more clear? Any ideas? |
