| Using a switch instead of a hub
I currently have a hub connected to the modem so that I can utilize multiple IPs from DSLExtreme. Would it be possible to replace that hub with a switch, and if so, what feature would I be looking for to allow me to do that? I am currently using the hubs Uplink port to connect to the modem. |

| A hub can easily be replaced with a switch.
Nothing special to look for other an adequate number of ports. Switches don't have an uplink port, so be sure to include your modem in the port count.
Here's an 8 port switch for $10.
