| [XP] Can't start MRxSMB driver
I have a computer that was recently infected pretty badly. I've cleaned up the viruses and am now trying to clear up the mess they left behind.
All the network devices cannot load, they have yellow exclamation marks and complain that they are missing or corrupt. In looking at the event log, I see that the first problem encountered at boot time is that MRxSMB.sys fails to load, it does not give a reason.
I've checked that the files is current and that it is referred to in the registry correctly. If anyone has any other suggestions, I would appreciate it.
