Hello Tom:
It would happen when I would first turn on the laptop. It has not happened for days. One thing I did do and I don't know if it made a difference is that I stopped using Open DNS. Would that have anything to do with it?

Milford, NH		 DNS shouldn't matter. DHCP assigns IP config info that includes DNS server address. Even if DNS is wrong system will have a valid IP so you can at least access local devices.
