| [iPhone] 3GS screen coating
So I got my 3GS yesterday. I'm very pleased with it, fast as !@#$ compared to the old 3G.
However, I"m less than pleased with the screen coating that's supposed to prevent fingerprints. It attracts lint like crazy while in the pocket. On my old 3G I had a screen protector, but I wont have time to go to the Apple store until the weekend, so right now its bare screen and I'm using the same case for the back.
Anyone else experience the lint magnet with their 3GS? -- GO LEAFS GO! |

i'm amazed at how well it repels my burrito/frenchfry finger-juice.. |

On my 3G I had bought a pack of 2 screen protector, ruined the first one with accidental fingerprint, but the second went on flawlessly and its been on to this very day, and I will sell it with it on. -- GO LEAFS GO! |

The rest of the case is another story... Second this. The iPhone glass is really hard to scratch. Our unprotected, two year old iPhone looks new and has never had a protector on it. You do want a case on the rest of the phone.
There have been some reports that the new coating is making the glass easier to scratch but so far so good here. It does seem like my dog's hair likes to stick to this new surface more. -- AT&T U-Hearse Your funeral. Delivered.

| I was in the store the other day getting mine when a teenager brought hers in with spiderweb cracks all through the screen and claimed it had just happened when she put it in her pocket. The salesmen tried to humor her for a bit and explained that it could never happen, but after the mom started yelling one brought his phone out and pounded on the screen to show it wouldn't happen. -- Retaking our country one election at a time. |

It's possible it did crack when she put it in her pocket....
