I'd like to not be pingable. Is there a way to block it through the router and how?

 On a Rev. D model you log in to the router, select "Firewall Settings" at the top (click YES to proceed if necessary), then "Remote Administration" on the left side, and under the Diagnostic Tools section uncheck the box for allowing incoming ICMP echo requests.

It should be similar on different versions, but the layout might be a bit different for each model revision.
