As best I can tell, my JVC hard disc camera records videos as *.moi or *.mod files. I am copying these to a backup hard disk.
How do I convert those -- without any loss of quality -- in to file type that I can: a) play on my computer, b) burn to a DVD?

Some sites say all I have to do is change the .mod extension to .mpg and it should work. Others state this is not the best way and I need to use a converter -- such as SDConvert.
If I do convert, is .mpg the most useful file type?? Thanks. |
