Min/Max opening of internet

I have WinXP Home and many apps. on the desktop. When I goto Yahoo (home), it opens full screen. When I goto Google, my bank, DSL reports, PC pitstop, Hotmail, etc., everything opens minimized. I have to hit the min/max button to open them to full size. I fixed this once before- a long time ago. Any ideas on how to "max" when I open these things?
I have plenty of "C" drive space(87%), I'm using IE8 & SP3 w/ no problems. It's just really annoying to have to maximize when I go online!

  Try this:

Open each link separately

Maximize the window

Close each one with the red "x" in the uppermost right hand corner while holding down the "shift" key.

They should now open maximized.

Hope this helps,

When you open the second "linked" window ( ie: google) - try to maximize that window by dragging from the sides or corners to fill the screen (do not toggle the maximize button) then close the first window (your yahoo home page) now close the second window that you dragged to maximize and then relaunch IE.

Open only one IE, adjust it to the size you want it to be (don't use the max feature to resize the window). Close the window, the next time you open IE it will be the size of that window you closed.

The way I understand it, the size of the last IE closed is how it opens up the next time. I don't believe it works that way if you maximize IE, you must adjust the size of the IE window to where you want it, then close that IE (it must be the last IE window closed).

All links, either from favorites, or webpages, will open in that size now too.
