There is one other option, if you want the two floors completely isolated and that is a business account with static IP addresses ($). This would require a cat5 install.

| Basically this what i am going to do connect my cat6 to ONT which will be connected to my router WAN port (WRT54GL) this will be second floor. First floor connect to actiontech connected via coax and the computers will connect via ethernet ports on actiontech router.
I do not care to have multiple WAN ip addresses or if they are static or dynamic.
Will Verizon allow this configuration. |
