I caught a couple of these off the Jetty at Surfside, Texas yesterday. They are good to use as bait King fish.
This is a Ribbon Fish. Very cool looking, really smooth skin that is super shiny. But a mouthful of nasty teeth.

My brother caught some (saw his pics) fishing off a warf in Miami.
Good thing they are not a piranha!
They look like they could be dangerous in a school!
