Click for full size
Try this:

Open MC
go to TV&Movies
Recorded TV
right click anywhere
click settings
TV
Recorder
Recorder Storage
Then pick your location.

*Not sure if it will see a networked drive though... It DOES see my portable drive when plugged in(J drive)

 Maybe if you map the drive Media Center will see it as an installed drive... can't hurt to try.
