3 edits | [AZ] My COX Premier Plus speed problem (Chandler, AZ) I have upgraded to the new Premier Plus plan last friday, when tech installed it that day, i am getting just around 20 mb/s down, while it's definitely faster than what i used to have, but it's not what i paid for. The tech told me thats because the node in my area is 95% saturated but i should see an increase within a month after they upgrade the node.
After a few days i noticed the DS light on my cisco dpc3000 moden changed from green to orange, and i noticed the download speed also decreased significantly to less than 10 mb/s! i tried the test in early morning and late night and they range from 5 mb/s! to 15 mb/s? some one from cox please explain whats happening?

i have the same speeds and the orange downstream light
it was going at 20mb/s down and then thursday it changed to orange and it slowed to about 10 and 15mb/s
i would like to know what the problem is
i think its the modem just my thought but who knows | |
