Have you tried Vista's built in burning software? Simply drag the files (mp3 and wmv) to the DVD burner icon in Windows Explorer and finalize the disc. Also, when you say won't play in the car what happens when you try? Are you sure your car stereo supports both mp3 and wma formats? |

What I mean is that the player doesn't recognize the format. It does support mp3, wav, wma, and many others (according to the manual) |
