Print out both pages, then don't worry about it. If you terminate early and they give you grief about it, file a "bait and switch" complaint with the FTC. Advertising one fee, then hiding a higher fee in the TOS is illegal. |

I would understand it if they lowered the ETF, updated the agreement and forgot to update the sign up page, but not the other way around. $149 Sounds like a mistake to me =\ |

1 edit | Looking at the Business FIOS address qualification page, the ETF is cited as "up to $149 early termination fee".
However, in the Terms of Service it's cited as, "a termination fee in the amount of two hundred fifty dollars ($250)".
To me this looks like they may have lowered the ETF, but based on their TOS they can hang you for a hundred bucks more, regardless of what their qual page says (since that page is just a quote and not the "official" agreement).
Any VZ insiders here who can clarify? |
