Maybe some new features in the dd-wrt Pro?

Noise Immunity
Noise Immunity Level
OFDM Weak Detection
Extended Range
Super G Fast Framing
Radar Detection
Channel Width
ScanList
MT Compatibility--(for WDS with Mikrotik)

Just anecdotal evidence so far, but it seems the receive sensitivity has improved quite a bit. A real-world test is forthcoming.

Re: dd-wrt

I've flashed Dlink DIR-300 with dd-wrt to test client mode and it hasn't work for me. It drops connection every 3 to 5 minutes. Also tried client_bridge mode but it doesn't work. I havent test AP mode though.

Linksys work very well, I have two of them working in my network in client mode.

they simply produce too much cpuload for that little 180mhz cpu

just do a benchtest you will find out soon by your self.

They are giving me one free license for the professional version to test--I think they do that for everyone.
Thanks again!

Ive played with DD-wrt on atheros devices quite a bit, I find it works well, but power output is always restricted, the professional version may fix that?

You have to use the redboot bootloader to flash it.

Thanks for the help--I was hoping not to have to TFTP. Why do you think dd-wrt is no good on Atheros devices?

I have searched for flashing instructions for a Bullet 2 and can't seem to find the web interface flashing instructions. WHT, you are around a lot! Perhaps somebody has a link?
Thanks for a great forum!
