[ Billing] Why Isnt Due Date Shown On Comcast Online Bill Pay?

As the subject line states.

On and off for 2 years I have called Comcast on this, and they don't know, or cant answer.
A recent call got me to the web developing dept. (so I was told), and they said it was an over look, and that sometime down the road, it will be added.
That was close to a year ago I believe.

Ive even asked in the Comcast direct section on BBR, and I don't get a reply from them, but see others that have posted way after me have already been given an answer to their questions.

Whats the use of having paperless billing...at least there was a due date on paper.
But no where on the online bill paying site.

We all have a lot on our minds and a lot to remember every month, and a lot of bills to be paid on time.
Why does Comcast expect us/me to remember the due date every month.

And the even bigger question....why did the web developing dept. say it will be corrected as it was an over look, and yet at least one year later it still isn't on your bill (online)

Can anyone answer this simple question?

I'm not interested in auto pay.

Re: [ Billing] Why Isnt Due Date Shown On Comcast Online Bill Pa

I am not sure on this one but I believe they don't put the due date on it for a reason. I think the reason is so that the user will hurry up and pay the bill since they think they are late on it and don't want to get charge a late fee. I have Comcast e-bill from my Bank of America e-bill site and it always say "Due upon Receipt".

I always felt that this was wrong but more of mind game Comcast plays with it's customers to hurry up and pay the bill. Heck even my Dept. store cards give me a due date. I really can't see how they could over look this or for that matter if they really did a whole year to fix it.

He is a screen shot of my bill.

I finally got an answer from Comcast direct in these forums, and they say it isnt on "view my bill". But you can see it in the pdf form...which is not correct unless you look at past bills, not the present bill.

In other words I'm getting the run around, and they keep it off for a reason they rather not disclose to the public.

If you pay within the time that overlaps the next billing cycle,, then the due date is absent. The due date is the same every time. Mine is always the 15th.

I believe one of the reasons you may not see a due date may stem from the line that shows there was no previous payment. From what i remember there should be a line that states "Due Now" since your previous payment has not been received.

YMMV

Cracker 52,
I noticed you pinned ATT U-verse availablity at your location,
Ashford Dunwoody and Nancy Creek. Is it still available in your area.
I live quite close and can't seem to get ATT offer it to me.
thanks,

U-Verse is available in my area, as I been getting fliers and seen the VRAD installed in my neighborhood (near Montgomery Elementary school). I placed an order for TV only on their web page late April, and someone did called and showed up to do the initial exterior installation work a couple of days before the scheduled installation on May 6th. But I did not hear from them again.

If they want me to be their customer, they need to their part after I placed an order (and got a e-mail confirmation). I shouldn't have to be calling them to prod them to come out and do the installation.

My page looks exactly the same as your page. But I do get the due date on all of my .pdf files, not just the old ones.

I'm starting to think the folks that were with Adelphia will have no due date listed. A few in my neighborhood (that I have asked) also don't have the due date showing.
But others that never had anything to do with Adelphia show a due date. At least it seems this way.

I'm used to it, just find it interesting this over look has not been corrected for years...and I know Comcast is aware of it.
Thanks for the comments...I'm tossing the towel in on getting them to correct this.
Case closed.

I noticed on screenshot that you posted you don't actually owe anything, you current balance due is zero . Does the due date show on prior bills when you actually owe money?

No it doesn't. I haven't seen a due date since Adelphia went bye bye and Comcast took over. No matter if I owe money from previous bill, or I'm paid up to date when a new one comes out.
Nothing at all shows a due date. Been like this for a long time, and my memory to remember many many bills dates is getting worse as I get older.
