 Outdoor Double Shielded Cat5e

I've found the Belden 7921A, and Sixnet's EB-CAT5E, but I'm wondering if there are any less expensive alternatives. Winncom has some good looking stuff that's around $650 for a 1000 spool, but they're having difficulty finding it for me. Any suggestions? Thanks!

May I ask why you require double shield?

We're going to be installing some radios at a high energy site, on an FM tower. Another WISP that is up there claims to have had much better results using double, shielded cable up there, along with clamp on passive chokes at the top and bottoms of the cables. We want to do this right the first time, and fiber unfortunately isn't an option right now.

Fiber does not need to be too expensive. Check out fiber.com. They have a widget which you can use to spec your own cables and it gives you the exact cost. Way easier then what I used to go through and I love the cable so far.

Due to a number of factors fiber is not an option, and cost doesn't really have anything to do with it.

does the 2x shield 5e use special connectors compared to the std 1x shield 5e?

I ended up ordering the Belden cable. There seems to be some debate as to what RJ45's work on this thicker cable. I'm ordering some RJ45's that the tech claimed was to be used with this cable.

model # on the connectors? I'm using the single shielded belden and there's no way the jacket can fit into the connector. I always tuck the wire into the connector. It's ugly but there isn't much you can do.

Prairiesky these work just fine for the Belden STP.
