| Re: [Windows] I got a brand new wireless Linksys N router, help I haven't worked with the Netopia 3347, but these steps have enabled me to use an external router with the 3346N-002 (which I believe is essentially the same as the 3347, just without the wireless):
- In the 3346's configuration menu, under Configure > Advanced > NAT > Default Server > NAT Default Mode, set to "IP Passthrough". Check "DHCP Enable". For "Host Hardware Address", use the MAC address of the router's WAN port.
-In the 3346's configuration menu, under Security > Breakwater Firewall, set to "Clear Sailing".
-Set the router to acquire a WAN IP address via DHCP. Set the router's MTU to 1492.
-Connect the WAN port of the router to one of the 3346's LAN ports. |
