| Need Hardware Recommendation Hey,
I need recommendation on the most reliable soho wireless router (802.11n not required or even wanted) you've ever worked with that's still available for purchase.
Feature requirements aren't big at all: 1) Allow GRE traffic for MS's RRAS VPN, 2) port forwarding support
Seriously, that's it. I just want this thing to be rock solid. It's for the CEO and he knows enough to get himself into trouble (ex-tech guy that hasn't kept up) and I don't want to be support for the next 20 years.

1 edit | If the budget is there, get one of those Cisco 800 series routers with wireless. Yes, itll be a bit more costly, but itll be very reliable and you can likely configure it to do anything your heart desires.
After buying a Cisco AP for my house, I can never go back to a consumer-class AP.

| Re: Need Hardware Recommendation SDM has no target demographic IMO. The people who are going to use something like SDM are the kind of people who could learn Cisco IOS properly.
Anyways, the Cisco is too high-end. I just want stability, not features.
Thanks for the recommendation though. -- Come play Mafia! | My Picture Blog
