It would probably be better with the recommended cold air intake modification.

Good thing about the S52 is that it is a good conservative stock BMW engine so you have a lot of room for improvement before it blows. The S54 is the same engine (essentially) living too close to the edge.

So, since I researched this quite a bit, what do you think the Shark did? Any difference? Thanks man. It goes like hell too. Next up is a lightweight flywheel and M5 clutch assembly, then I'm going with some forced induction for 420+whp (491 hp at the crank) and some insane speed.. That'll put it at 5.7 lbs per 1 horsepower, or, better than a new Corvette Z06 which is 6.1 lbs per 1 HP..
