Yep looks like its Docsis 3.0 time soon. Verizon FIOS vs Time Warner Docsis 3.0 around here.

Sounds like they are updating the tools. Interesting why this was the first sign. But nevertheless, it does look like DOCSIS 3.0 for NYC is going forward.

Docsis 3.0 is 100MBPS.

Should not be too long from now till its offered. They said by December 2009. It is now June 30th.
