anh2 : I am hoping there is someone out there that might be able to help me salvage my Linksys RV016 after I attempted to do firmware upgrade. Currently LED is flashing amber, I have tried pressing reset button for 30 seconds, then unplug power source then plugging it back while still holding reset button. I cannot ping it even though I have set my pc to 192.168.1.2 ip 255.255.255.0 and gateway 192.168.1.1 with no dns.

When I open up the unit, the flash chip is from Intel TE28F128 J3C150 A4037441 and a white stick on the chip 040421123 and it is total different from the other model that has instruction to shorting it at pin 16. The circuit board has A5NK-RV1600-11, another thing I notice this board also has JP3 com1 that you would normally have on m/b.
I am not sure what to do now. I will try using TFTP process while I am waiting for inputs. Thanks in advance.
