DP2162 : Hi George,
Thanks for your reply. By moving my internet and TV to ATT, I would potentially save about 40 bucks a month. This is a massive saving. However currently it is not practical for me to move if it means me being down for 7- 10 days.I run an IT business and my mail server and my web server can not go down for this length of time.

dslx_gm : Hi DP2162 -

It is my understanding that AT&T requires you to disconnect your Internet service with your existing ISP prior to installing new service on the line. This will results in most cases in 7-10 business days of downtime. This is of course an AT&T policy on their product and has nothing to do with DSL Extreme.

We would love to keep you around as a client. Be sure to take a look at our latest packages under the Members section of our site to see if one meets your needs.

Thanks
--
George
General Manager
DSL Extreme
Will work for reviews. ;)

DP2162 : I am currently with DSLExtreme and would like to move to U-Verse. The problem is my business email server and websites are using the current connection. How does one go about tranfering the service with minimum downtime? According to Att, I would look at a possible downtime of upto 7 days as I first have to cancel DSLExtreme.I cannot belive that.
