Re: [HD] Lost Channels In One Room-What?!?!?!?!?!

Try switching the boxes you could have a bad box, If the other box works it a bad box. If it don't it most likely a bad cable or splitter.

Nah, it's a rate code issue, the channels are showing as "not authorized". If it was a signal issue the box would display "one moment please"

vetteboy has 4 hd boxes 3 are working ok. The 4th is not working ok. If it was a rate code all 4 would not work. The one box is not picking the rate code. He probably will have to exchange the box

You can have a single outlet not working due to rate codes.

UPDATE:

The rep e-mailed me and said it should be taken care of...

It's not.

I swapped the boxes and the box that was not getting the channels, is still not getting them in another room, but at least we have all the HD we are paying for downstairs where we really want it.

I'm waiting for conformation from Comcast that I should get a new box.

It possible that your cable has a bad connector or a leg on your splitter is bad. Switch the cable at the splitter had see if the bad box starts working ok.
