| arris tm502g & linksys wrt54gs!! GRRR ok im new at this...ive looked through these post and am deeply confused....i have a arris tm502g (modem, i think) and a linksys wrt54gs (router, right?) ok a few problems
1. i do everything the set up thing tells me to do and i get no connection to the router from my modem...or which ever way it goes.
2. i dont know what i am doing and i just want to play online with my ps3(so i am blinded with rage)
3. the "helpfull" people at the cable company wont help me...
does is matter if it is a (linksys wrt54g or linksys wrt54gs?) anything would help  | |

| Assuming your modem is working...you ran the CD that came with your router, and you have it wired correctly...
*unplug the modem and the router.
*plug in the modem. Wait for all the lights to come back on
*plug the router in
*restart your computer
