The WRT610N already runs Linux inside it. You can download the GPL code off the Linksys site.

I believe it can handle NTFS drives, but it's something you really shouldn't do...

I see, strange how Linksys advertised the 160NL as being Linux-based, but does not mention Linux anywhere in the product description or specs of the 610N.
