Doesn't work. I tried it on my PC and it sits on Updating Media Library and Receiving media info for Gold for hours on end.

Eventually DirecTV will permit one DVR to play the content of another DVR on the LAN IMO.
That's exactly what I'm talking about - and the bandwidth is minimal....
When I use DirecTVPC on my laptop and view an HD show, it sometimes stutters. My laptop is connected via a 'n' connection. So at least with HD, I think the bandwidth requirements may be pretty high.
