Fine with me; I don't have to go through the setup process all over again.

Many thanks, Howieh!!! :D As always, you are so helpful and knowledgeable in these situations.

howieh : It has always bothered me that they don't use different naming conventions to identify the SMP Client. The SMP Client is used on dual core and quad core processor machines. It binds the processors together in a way that lets them all work on a single unit. The setup of the SMP Client is very different from the console version in that you need to also setup either the Deino or MPICH components along with the client. You are probably not using the SMP Client.
--
Hey Buddy, can you spare a cycle? Join Team Helix

jopfef : According to the website, that's what I have installed: Folding@home-Win32-x86.exe. I looked in the FAH folder to see what was there.

What's the difference??? It's been so long since I folded, that I'm not current on anything anymore. :p I have it set up as a system service; I think that's the console version, right? Please advise, as I need to go get some rack time (not feeling well...) and this WU is 90% finished.

Thanks for your kind assistance, Howieh.
howieh : I just Ctrl-C as soon as it begins processing the new unit. You could also stop the current unit with Ctrl-C and add the -oneunit flag to the shortcut and then start it back up. The -oneunit flag will close down the client when the unit completes. Just remember to remove the flag after you make your changes.

Are you currently using the SMP Client on any of your systems?
--
Hey Buddy, can you spare a cycle?
