| Question for Rear Projection LCD/Sony expert...
I have a Sony KDF-46E2000 Rear Projection LCD.
The issue I'm having is at the top of the screen there is a red bar and a yellow bar of color all the way across the top. They are feint but noticeable when lighter images appear there. They are constant across all inputs and you can still see the images through them. They cover roughly the top 1.5" of the display.
Any Ideas what may be causing this?

Sterling Heights, MI | Is there a convergence adjustment on your set? I'd recommend giving that a try, especially if the issue started after you moved the unit.

sounds like one of the polarizers being affected by the heat of the mercury lamp.
if you have a total white screen on, does the white screen look similar to this picture ?
