| Nextalarm, Vonage and NO ABN adapter? Just got Vonage and switched our ADT Safewatch alarm system to Nextalarm. I have the ABN adapter on order but it's been backordered for over 2 weeks now. In the meantime, I hooked up the ADT panel to Vonage and the alarms, arming, disarming are being reported without any problems according to the alarm logs on Nextalarm's website. Since it seems to be running ok, is there any reason not to cancel the ABN adapter and just use the VOIP service? | |

And being new to Vonage, how often does that happen where the VOIP service itself goes down without the Internet being the culprit (so the ABN would stay connected)? Just trying to see if it's worth the money since it seems to work fine the way it is and the VOIP has been flawless since we got it. | |

VOIP provider and still have no issues. I never bought the VOIP adapter for NextAlarm and still have not. | |
