Here is where I have the issue..
A LCD with a tuner for tv is like near $700 if I wanted a 27" but none for the brand I want are in 1080p But yet a pc monitor in a smaller size like a 26" has 1080p also with a lower price. |

1 edit | So get a 32"?
The lower price is because of no tuner - more or less a panel with connectors.
Remember, to properly resolve 1080, you have to view the display from a certain distance. Any farther away and you won't really be able to see the difference.

| reply to Subaru I've been very pleased with the Vizio 32" 1080p set I purchased from Walmart. They sell a 720p set, but I wanted the 1080p version, so I had to order it online and got the free shipping to the closest store. It has 3 HDMI ports, 2 component, composite and s-video, as well as optical and coaxial digital output. It is a connection dream with so much available. The remote is simple and uncluttered. The picture is stunning. Even though it isn't a "120Hz" model, I've not noticed any blurring even during fast sports scenes. The ATSC and ClearQAM tuners work great. I paid a total of $529. -- *************** I think computer viruses should count as life. | 32" is way too big since it's sitting in a wall unit.. I think if I have my way we might get a tv stand for it.
My cousin had a 27" Vizio that he got from BJ's but after 4 days took it back for a samsung because (I agree with him) the Vizio was not as sharp as the Samsung or any of the others we saw. |

| Vizio's are actually good tv's when it comes to quality for the price. I agree Samsung is a better tv but you will also pay a lot more for an equivelant tv.
I have a sony but my parents have a 40" vizio that they bought around the same time i bought mine. I paid 1800 bucks and they paid I think around 1000. They are quite happy with it. -- In a society that is drug infested, violence wracked, and polluted by chemical greed, no one has ever died from an overdose of pornography!
