Re: Americas Army too much for Steam

It's a little frustrating at times. Last night was one example. I see this enemy coming down a shallow valley and get off a contact report. The lone enemy is flanked by the rest of my squad. I hear much gunfire, but the guy is still coming towards my position. I take a knee, lean out, put my aimpoint on his chest and rattle off 3 short bursts.
Then I die. And this single enemy runs into the basement through a tunnel. I've never seen so many people sat "WTF?" at the same time. I didn't know Rambo was a character in the game.

I'll probably play some more tonight.

It's still a bit buggy in MP, but I can deal with it. Me and 5 others are always playing so it makes it a blast.

Have to admit - getting the game installed is a trial - took me 3 days and several attempts.

Tried to do training (could not get logged in with my previous user and tried to have the info sent to me - 20 minutes later still nothing) and training was painful. Several tries could not get past the obstacle course. No idea are I am having problems with - no idea why I failed. Last time I tried to get the course done - it would not let me go prone (at least what I saw I was standing up) but the person on the bottom right of the screen showed me prone. It would try to let me roll but it would fail. After 5 tries to go prone I gave up...

Did you try training online or offline?

Actually, ATM, you don't even need to do training. Just jump in game on any server and start playing.

I've been playing every night and like the game, they just need to fix some of the bugs.
