Add Qwest and Cableone.
Cableone is a local crappy provider here in Boise, Idaho that has low daily bandwidth caps of 1GB download and 150mb upload (on their standard tier, the others aren't much higher) from noon - midnight. There are no caps from midnight - noon. If you go over the cap they drop your bandwidth in half. They are also way behind the curve on bandwidth (even though in many areas of major cities they have FTTH or at least FTTN). Their current offerings are 3mbps/384kpbs, 5mpbs/512kpbs, 10mpbs/1mpbs.
I would love to have Verizon's FIOS here. I would be happy to pay $60 just for their standard tier... |

You are so right. This is soooo frustrating. I have DSL from AT&T. 6/512 for the last 8 friggin' years!!! (Started out as Bellsouth). My only other option is Charter cable & they are so cash strapped, they don't even bury the cables in my subdivision. They just run these bright orange cables right along the ground/across the street.
AT&T has just completely conceded internet service to just about any other company by their actions. My God, the FiOS middle tier will have a UPLOAD speed more than twice my present (& forseeable future) DOWNLOAD speed. It;s almost enough to make a grown man cry.
