2 edits | K, I decided to brave it with the odd wireless loss lately.
update seems to have gone fine.
After restoring setting first thing I try with every update can I turn on B and G and N mode and B still work..... No.
my neighbors laptop reconnected quickly in N mode my printer reconnected in G my Palm TX sometimes saw the guest SSID (1 in 5 scans maybe) never saw the primary. As it (the Palm TX) already knows the the keys for either SSID it should be able to connect as if SSID was just invisible. But alias no joy. It never connected to either SSID in Mixed B, G and N mode and in Mixed B&GG mode this is NEVER an issue.
So it remains if you need B than Mixed B and G mode and B only are the only two options that actually WORK. If your tempted for Mixed B, G and N ya might as well just go Mixed G and N if you really don't need B. -- DLink DIR-655 (a3) Siemens SpeedStream 4100 |

Now that gone. N been wacky with DECT 6.0 friendly wi-fi phone set. |

Panasonic 2.4GHz was great but they didn't last more than 1.6 years. So I had purchased the top of the line Vtech 5.8GHz DSS 4-phones and base/ans. Those lasted me 3 years well I mean they do work still. Now I got the top of the line Vtech in DECT 6.0 5-phones and base/ans.
Well I do have 150/300Mhz again but I have to have DLINK on don't know what could be it. But the wireless is can't keep the internet connection in AP mode. That was the point on buying the Beklin N+ using Ralink chips found in the DIR-685. |

(shocking) Well that's good, don't be shock maybe someone is getting it right at DLINK. Wait for the DIR-685 hits the USA market. Sure to have some issues with that storage router firmware. I hope they get that right they did something like install a fan in it. |
