| COD WaW ... uhg So where have all the players gone? I see endless fields with the opportunity of glorious slaughter, yet nobody is around to feel the lead.
Is there some other FPS PC game everyone is playing these days (other than L4D which rocks)? I played COD WaW on PS3 and that rocked, there were gillions of people, however there aren't many players in the PC side. | |

| WaW was addicting for a couple months. In the end, the developers made too many mistakes, and the game couldn't make the transition into the mod/mapping community, so it got boring.
And yes, many many people who I refer to as Nubs call TF2 their home. And as always, I'll let everyone know that Fortress Forever is where the real Team Fortress players reside.
And not that many people play L4D anymore. The community has shrunk quite a bit and there's a lot of less than stellar players plaguing the servers. | |

| While there aren't as many on the PC side, I always manage to find active servers. I rotate between several custom map servers, which are almost always at capacity.
Sure, not all of the custom maps are good, but the majority of them rock

| WaW is, imo, the worst COD game in the entire series. I just can't get into it, AT ALL. I have absolutely no idea why they would base the game on the world war after going into the modern era. I love COD4 and I can play that all day.

| Yeah, you guys do make some good points about it. Coming from playing all of the CoD games (except modern warfare), WaW really didn't do much for me, other than the graphics.
The multiplayer really was a bit too loose for me, though in hardcore mode it was a bit better. If they could have some maps where they were more sniper friendly (not so close quarters like all of the other previous versions) it would be a lot funner I believe.
For a realistic game, I am hoping that the new Delta Force that is going to be coming out rocks. The previous games (up until Joint Operations) really were great for realistic battles, as well as the terrain distance and trajectory was the best that I have seen in any first person shooter. | |
