I'm coming up to my DSLExtreme contract expire date, and I'm curious what's going to happen with the relationship between DSLExtreme and Frontier.
Will the service be discontinued since we don't have Verizon anymore? (i.e. if I'm in contact, will I be let go?) Or will the service continue for the duration of the contract, no matter if Frontier takes over or not?
Thanks. --

I have no idea. I hope George can shed some light on this because I too am curious about what will happen when Frontier takes over markets where we have existing customers. |

As other people have referenced here on BBR, I don't anticipate any changes to take place in the near future. The transition for the three states to FairPoint took nearly 24 months if I am not mistaken.
It is therefore a bit early to comment on the transition process as that hasn't been worked out internally within Verizon and Frontier to my knowledge at this point.
As we have more information we will provide it but in the meantime I wouldn't worry as we will continue to provide service in those areas as usual.
Thanks -- George General Manager DSL Extreme Will work for reviews. |
