Re: Which VPN Server?

Hello.

I was thinking of creating a VPN to my network at home so, I can access some services I have. Now, I don't know which vpn server to use/configure to accomplish this in Linux.

I currently have a linux router/firewall between my dsl modem and the lan and I would like to use it to communicate with the lan remotely.

What is the recommended server that would run in linux that is easy to configure and setup as well as strong and dependable?

Thanks.
What services?

Its also possible Secure Shell [SSH] may also work for you. Most, if not all LINUX distributions have a built-in SSH server function.

I could recommend to look at OpenVPN (Open Source Overview), Downloads.
