Bellsouth cared about all their customers. AT&T bought out Bellsouth because they wanted Cingular and the employee pension fund. They now have Cingular and are about to have access and plunder the pension fund. They don't care about the wire end of the business. They will probably run the wire end of the company in the ground and then sell it or spin it off so that it cant survive. U-verse is the holy grail for AT&T. If you are not a U-verse customer in the future, your problems will be on the lowest list of their priorities. I've seen the future and it doesn't work!!!! |
