Yep, Just beat it. Stupid ending. Big letdown. *sheesh*
Still can't play online successfully though. Too bad, I had high hopes for this game. |

| reply to Alpha Phoenix Multiplayer is buggy at best, unplayable at worst. Latency seems to be the big issue.
I finished the single player, but I can't remember that part. Oh yes. Which part of the elevator? You need to be REAL careful with the real final part - just balance your ammo. -- De Colores! |

| reply to DMWCincy Anyone beat this game yet? I'm stuck on the final mission and can't even get out of the elevator. I'm getting hammered and blasted every which way you can think of.
I'm also having a bit of problem with the online multiplayer. I connect to a room and it looks like every way I try to turn I'm just staring at a reddish colored wall with no texture. Meanwhile I keep hearing gunfire and the sounds of battle all around me and the messages keep displaying on my screen that x person just killed y person, but I can't seem to run around and fight. What gives? -- "I do not feel obliged to believe that the same God who has endowed us with sense, reason, and intellect has intended us to forgo their use." - Galileo |

| reply to Alpha Phoenix Sorry for bring back an older thread....
I just picked up the game a few nights ago and still playing through the single player.
Controls are great. A ton better then Red Steel and I think the layout is better then Metroid. Everything seems responsive and feels more natural for a FPS then a normal game controller.
Graphics are decent for the Wii. For you fanboys that think graphics is everything dont bother looking but for those that dont put as much weight on it its what you would expect from a Wii game.
Gameplay is a typical FPS. You point, you shoot, you collect weapons and health to keep moving. So far I dont seem to have to manage bullets as much as say Half Life 2. The AI seems pretty simplistic. It will surprise you a few times but then at other times it will be predictable. The game auto saves for you and it seems pretty easy to get from save point to save point. No 1 hr long treks between save points. The enivornment isn't really destructive but there are radios and TVs that you can listen to, to get more background on the games.
Havn't done multi so i can't give my review on that yet. |

| reply to bignate I've been playing it and I've almost beaten the game. I'm near the end. So far so good. The accuracy of the controls are great; just wish the graphics were a bit better, but all in all I think it's a good game. I only played my cousin online in a 1-on-1 match once so I haven't really tried out the online multiplayer aspect yet. i want to beat the game first before I go online and start battling it out online.
What are the thoughts of others who have this game? -- "I do not feel obliged to believe that the same God who has endowed us with sense, reason, and intellect has intended us to forgo their use." - Galileo |

| reply to Alpha Phoenix i feel that way because i have had enough of the Wii. It was such a gimmick and such a letdown i almost don't like it at all because of that. Its a console built around a controller. They tried so hard making the controller do stupid crap they forgot to make a good system and used crappy hardware. There is really nothing good for it. Its all gimmicks.
Look up Project Natal for xbox and see how it should be. -- Opinion is just a word people hide behind to try and justify them believing stupid things. It sure is easy to believe in something completely and totally stupid, say it's your "Opinion" and then everyone has to respect it. |

| reply to Alpha Phoenix i think it look s really good. i have been following it for about 6 months. apparently the company "high voltage" designed a game engine specifically to take the most advantage of the wii hardware. then they built a game with it to show off the engine. it is supposed to look better than metroid(best compairison game) with better control/control options.
i am really looking forward to this one. |

| I just read the previews on the game, The Conduit, for the Wii and I gotta same I am very interested in this. What do you guys think of it so far from what you may have read/seen?
It seems pretty cool and I love the online multiplayer aspect of it all. Seems like I can get back to fragging online like my good ole UT days.
