Considering that I have 12 Mbps/2 Mbps for $33 per month from Comcast with a 2 year contract, that's not a very good deal from Verizon. Especially since I didn't even have to be a new customer to get it.
Verizon has been very heavily advertising DSL in my area. Here's a tip Verizon, why don't you deploy FIOS in my area. Then maybe we'll talk.

00000 | Very true, if you aren't affected by Comcast traffic management, then they are a good deal. But if you happen to be a user than is, even a dirt cheap $33 price isn't a "deal".

I just received $29.99 for 2 years (no TV or phone) thru Charter, this is 5down/1up. I am 18k feet from the CO, Verizon I love your internet but you need to bring me FIOS! Otherwise I am stuck with Charter, yuch, well it might be getting better then they are going bankrupt. |
