Its not WiMax service. The Clearwire WiMax service is on www.clear.com, not their clearwire.com page. The WiMax is only commercially available in Baltimore and Portland at this point.

1 edit		 Specifically, Clearwire offers true mobile WiMAX in Baltimore/Portland/Atlanta only at the moment. They have a pre-WiMAX flavor, which sucks, in many small markets. Will take time to upgrade those markets to true mobile WiMAX.

Chicago/Dallas/Philly and I think Boston have some unofficial true WiMAX coverage not officially released yet.
