I did hear that Ford outside of the USA makes far superior cars to Fords made inside the USA. Maybe that is to what he is referring. -- Blagojevich / Madoff 2012! |

| Sure people would be happy with a Ford as long as its not the old Ford Pinto.
Comparing DSL to fiber as a Ford to Ferarri isnt really accurate, its more of a Yugo to Ford, a Ferarri would be an OC3 or something. -- Im Your Boogeyman, Thats What I Am |

1 edit | reply to Boogeyman said by Boogeyman :Sure people would be happy with a Ford as long as its not the old Ford Pinto. I've always looked down at Ford, Chrysler and GM vehicles in the USA simply because they've been crap as compared to some of the foreign makes.
When GM and Chrysler announced that they were going on welfare (Chrysler for the 2nd time), that, along with my own family's relationship with GM that began in 1972 and ended with me buying a Honda in 2001, pretty much cemented the view in my head that everything they make is junk. If that wasn't the case, they would not need welfare.
Ford, on the other hand, I am starting to warm to. I have a lot of respect for them because they chose to do the right thing and not take welfare, but actually compete in the marketplace by trying to become a stronger company and build better products. -- Blagojevich / Madoff 2012! |
