I went to the local fahm for some pix of lambs and springy things. The sheeps were out of range behind Scotty and Fiona; the girls in the coop said hi. I saw loads of daffodils on 6A yesterday, but I was driving and photos really weren't an option.

So far Sweet Witch is in the lead, no doubt. vaxvms has a second with blooms. DK has a fail with 'should have been Friday Cats' pix and the shopped photo failed cuz it wasn't a Faberge egg. I'm not doing much better, I went back to the fahm and missed cute lambs. I've missed some spring pix; I think it might be 'sexting', only legal in VT. Somehow I don't think the squirrels were playing leap-frog and got stuck.

Um, Faberge made the eggs for Easter. I have a minor fascination of them. My photoshopping skillz are sad at best. Maybe next year I'll show my AutoCAD egg (it will never be "done"). Here is my current favorite Faberge egg.

 Nice flowers! But I thought the snow just melted last week. Or maybe two weeks ago.

Well, that goes to show I don't know much about seasons in Maine. Let's see: snow season to March 15, mud season to April 15, flower season to May 15.

Or something like that.

I know that some places are ahead of others. We like a spring fling in late March in London because it's a taste for what's about 3 or 4 weeks later here at home. And my sister in Florida has had her windows open for almost two months.

I just opened my windows to freshen up inside the house Friday.

My observation is that Maine (my corner of it) is roughly 1 1/2 - 2 weeks behind the Boston area in foliage in the Spring.
Or, the 1 1.2 -2 weeks AHEAD of Boston area in the fall.
