down stream is best between 8 -8, but you're still in ok levels. your upstream is starting to get high, but under 50 is ok.
sounds to me like congestion, oversold bandwidth.
at what time does this get the worst? |

| reply to esenpak i don't know where you are, but downstream should be optimum -5 and upstream ~ 40 in my area. I'm fairly certain the equipment is similar, so ask for a tech to come out and try again. If the tap is just too hot, you need a dc-12 to fix the problem. |

| My connection speed is too wavy and signal levels are snr 36 downstream power 12,7 and upstream power 47,5. Provider says signal levels normal but my speed is not. While I check modem signals from provider's page rarely it says "rec power low". Does anybody know what that means and can it be the problem? |
