[Off Topic] Upload Speeds

Hey,
lately i noticed upstream boost up to 650KB/s but after 5 seconds or so it would drop to 250-400, and stay in that range. Does this mean that my node is capped at around 650KB/s or so? Is there a trick to get those kind of speed stable (600-650)?

thanks

You may be getting the max available. 3.0Mbps=366.2 KBps so it looks like your speeds are about normal. Speed is always going to fluctuate, but on your package it seems everything is OK (to me that is).

Think I might of made a mistake:

,276,800 bps bits per second (default)

3,276.8 Kbps kilo bits per second

3.3 Mbps mega bits per second

409,600 Bps bytes per second

400 KBps kilobytes per second

0.4 MBps megabytes per second

5,324,800 bps bits per second (default)

5,324.8 Kbps kilo bits per second

5.3 Mbps mega bits per second

665,600 Bps bytes per second

650 KBps kilobytes per second

COnclusion remains the same though.....You upload looks in spec. If you ever have a question on speeds you can always use the bandwith calculator on this site to verify is your speeds are ok or not.

3MB/s = 384KB/s (3 times 1024 and divided by 8).
I just used speak easy and speedtest test, and im getting Upload Speed: 6933 kbps (866.6 KB/sec transfer rate). Every time i upload something the speed reaches ~600KB/s (then drops to 380 or so), so i assume my node can handle speeds like that, but some kind of script is working to cap my speeds at around 380? So i am wondering if its possible to go around that script, and use the full upload speed of the node 600-900KB/s?
